Tailored rewards: how I see partners using Giffy

What touches me every single time in my work is how differently our partners use Giffy.

Of course, I see the familiar moments go by. Birthdays, Christmas, the end of the year: the classics. But it is precisely the unexpected moments that stay with me longest. The employee of the month. Someone who has successfully passed their probationary period. A team that has gone that extra mile at a moment when it mattered.

Those kinds of moments are less self-evident. There is no date for them in the diary. No one reminds you of them. And perhaps that is exactly why they have such a great impact: they show that appreciation is not tied to a calendar, but to a tangible achievement or milestone.

What strikes me about this is that all these applications have one thing in common. Companies decide for themselves when and why they reward their people, in keeping with their own culture, their own rhythm. In this way, appreciation does not become a one-off action somewhere in December, but something that continues throughout the year.

I think it is beautiful to see how organisations find their own way in this. And perhaps even more beautiful: that Giffy moulds itself to them, instead of the other way around.
