Sessions Community is a collective of leaders who come together around one principle: Growth Through Vulnerability.
Instead of yet another presentation, they organise interactive roundtable discussions where leaders from specialised communities meet each other. It is all about authentic connection, shared learning, and personal as well as professional growth.
The focus is on Sales Leadership, B2B Marketing Leadership, and Tech Founders. Operating from Amsterdam and Copenhagen, Sessions Community creates spaces where vulnerability becomes a strength, and where leaders grow together through meaningful conversations.
Personal leadership event
From building fires to systemic work, from being vulnerable together to listening to your inner voice: this event had it all. And it was a massive pleasure to experience this with the Sessions Community.
Indeed, leadership is about so much more than targets and OKRs. It is also about self-knowledge, connection, and taking the space to discover what you need to lead effectively. The idea behind this track: a kind of ClassPass for personal development. No set path, but various entry points to discover what suits you.
The lesson that stuck: letting go
One of the exercises that day literally made me let go: on a stretcher, carried by my team members. A simple image, but with a profound lesson behind it. Because I am used to doing a lot myself, arranging things, holding onto the steering wheel. But sometimes, the most powerful action is actually not taking action yourself.
By allowing myself to be carried, I relearnt what it means to trust others, to relinquish control, and to make space for people to show their own strength. Perhaps that is the very essence of personal leadership: not always being the engine, but sometimes just... being carried.
