Delivering gifts worldwide: how we truly take the burden off an international client's shoulders

A large international client with more than 5,000 employees in 30+ countries approached us with a recognisable problem.
Previous suppliers struggled to deliver gifts in Asian countries. Local differences, logistics, preferences: it turned out to be a constant challenge to get this right.
Together with the client, we started finetuning the offering. By working closely together and listening carefully to what was needed per region, we finally got the offering accepted by the local directors in all these countries. Great proof that a global roll-out stands or falls by paying attention to local differences.
What the figures show
During this campaign, we received a total of around 250 customer service enquiries from the various countries. The kind of questions you are judged on as a supplier: will the gift card actually arrive, how does it work locally, what if something goes wrong?
The feedback we received on this was exactly what these types of campaigns are all about: we reacted quickly, we were ready to help people where necessary, and we remained available to actively contribute to finding solutions.
What this teaches us
A global roll-out is not about an offering that is the same everywhere. It is about flexibility, local alignment and above all: being there when needed. Not only having the product in order, but also the team around it that thinks along, reacts quickly and remains available until the last question is resolved.
